Main street in tourist costal city of dziwnówek in west poland. It's typical for cities like that: full of cheesy market stands. The game of coin-football, which you can hear ringing constantly in the background is also characteristic for polish coastal tourist areas. Many people (talking mostly polish language), and several cars are passing by. I am standing on pavement, and have thestreet in front of me and backside of supermarket behind me. The sound was recorded with zoom h3vr (ambix format).

Ambience onboard the red funnel car ferry to the isle of wight. The ferry was busy and i don't think a single person was listening to the safety announcement. Olympus ls-5, built in mics, 25hz hpf.

Around 15 minutes of a fireworks show i went to. You can hear many different types of fireworks go off, with crackling, explosions, bangs, booms, etc. In this. There are people and kids talking and laughing in the background throughout many parts due to this being a public event, which may be good or bad depending on what you would like to use this for. The fireworks were not very far away, which means that they do sound close. I even got covered in some ash during the experience. You do not need to credit me for this sound, use it how you like.

Over 3 minutes of loud motorcycles streaming by revving their engines plus sirens and horns during an insane motorcade of bikes and choppers that temporarily took over streets of the westside highway. Sirens are not police but are from bikes in the motorcade. A high-quality recording of a quiet day on the steps in front of the st. Ursen cathedral in solothurn, switzerland. You can hear the two fountains which build the background sound. We went to strasbourg to follow an invitation by an photographer to his vernissage! to bad that we got stucked into the traffic jam and arrived while the gallery was already closed! that was really a bummer because the drive took us four hours!lucky that i had my zoom h6 because strasbourg is by far an amazing city with so many street life. This is a merry go round that was at the louisville zoo in kentucky, usa. It was actually specifically called a mary lee we go around, created by a mary lee and her husband in 1919. I’m not sure if the music is similar or the same as the music used when it was made but it seems like if it wasn’t it was made to feel like it could be. This is 4 and a half minutes of background noise from a new york city diner, including people talking, clanging plates and glasses and forks and knives and cups being cleared away by staff. Crucially, no music is playing. This means you can either use this clean, or layer in your own rights-cleared music if you're using this in a film or whatever. The ambiance of the famous strasbourg christmas market, known as one of the oldest in the world (first edition took place in 1570) and the city's biggest touristic event, gathering thousands of people downtown for one month at the end of every year. I took my zoom h2n in different places, capturing a slightly different mood each time. Expect lots of crowd sounds, background music, street atmosphere and. . . A lot of different languages (french, german, spanish, english. . . . All recordings made in ms stereo mode (120° setting).

I thought i would do a recording of me listening to truckers on the cb radio while i was seeing if i would pick up anything. Surprisingly, i was able to receive something because sometimes i don't pick up anybody because barely nobody is on it. Sometimes you can understand what they say but sometimes not all the time. This was recorded in the centre of oxford, near the junction between broad street and turl street, on 23rd february 2013. I was facing west along broad street with turl street, and the pavement, to my left. There are many different sounds on this recording including bikes being parked (i was standing near a bike rack) and ridden, cars lurking for a parking space, dropping people off and turning round (broad street has a car park in the middle of it), plenty of different people walking past and talking, and a big issue seller. There is the occasional bit of wind noise, but not as much as i'd feared (luckily the wind was behind me). Recorded with a marantz pmd661 with built-in microphones.

This recording, encoded in vbr format, is one hour and 44 minutes long. Like the other recordings in this sound pack, the mother cat and her kittens are inside a nesting box in the garage. A small stereo microphone (olympus me51s) was placed inside the brooding area. After editing, they were exported to mp3 format. Sounds include mewing, purring, shuffling, and nursing. Some occasional heartbeats may be heard as the mother cat or kittens move inside. Other sounds include a rooster crowing, and people working outside, and some occasional people talking in the background. At this stage, the kittens are in week 3 of their life.

Distant music combined with the market and people walking past creates a busy scene with the busy road that runs over the top of the market giving a nice base to fill out the recording. A mid-sized waterfall flowing into a gentle stream. This is near the road by the grand prismatic spring in yellowstone. The timbre of this smaller fall is higher than the roar of the large waterfall. And you can just make out the gurgling of the stream. But, in general, this kind of thing sounds a bit like static. Sorry it's so short, there was a lot of wind and people talking. Accordion player on a sidewalk of the japanese quarter liberdade, sao paulo, brazil. He plays and sings a popular tune of the interior region of north-eastern brazil, the so-called sertão, using a sound system with a strong echo effect. In the background one can hear the traffic sound of a big city, pedestrians walking by and talking.

I'm at the corner of 5th and kansas not far from kair 93. 7fm studios. This sound starts with the band from part1 departing and a truck passing. Children talk and yell and a man yells something. Another band approaches. A woman seems to tell someone to say cheese in the distance. The file ends when the band gets a bit too loud for my microphone. Recorded with goldwave with an asus laptop in my backpack and a microsoft lifecam3000 poking out of it facing behind me clothes-pinned to one of the handles of the pack. Unfortunately microsoft no longer supports their lifecam apps so it's not possible to turn down the internal mic gain.
